Luis obtained his Law Degree from the Universidad Autónoma de Chihuahua (UACH) graduating with Honors, as well as a Master in Intellectual and Industrial Property from Universitat de Barcelona, in Spain. He is a firm believer of continuing education and frequently attends seminars and training events organized by the IMPI (Mexican Institute of Industrial Property), WIPO (World Intellectual Property Organization), ICC (International Chamber of Commerce) and the AMPPI (Mexican Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property) where he is a national member.
As a specialized attorney in intellectual property since 2013, Luis advises companies regarding the design and implementation of strategies and documents for the recruitment, protection and defense of Trademarks, Inventions, Copyright and Personal Image. Specifically, he participates in technical-legal projects within the digital environment through comprehensive advice and software protection and applications, including compliance with Official Standards for e-commerce as well as special regulations for Personal Data processing. Likewise, his participation in the building of the City of Chihuahua Brand strategy and the protection of intangible assets in more than 50 countries stands out in his professional practice. He has participated as speaker in several courses, seminars, and workshops for companies and entrepreneurs at a national level. He has served as Professor of New Technologies Law at Universidad La Salle Chihuahua, Intellectual Property at Tecnológico de Monterrey and Centro Universitario de Desarrollo Docente at Universidad Autónoma de Chihuahua.
