Summary:

Luis Carlos graduated with honors for academic excellence from the Facultad de Derecho at Universidad Autónoma de Chihuahua, and currently helps coordinate the litigation department in our firm. He has experience in commercial, civil, and administrative litigation, as well as in “Juicio de Amparo” procedures. He also advises multiple companies in terms of contracts, corporate and intellectual property issues.

Before joining CAAM Legal, he worked as in-house counsel for a state agency.

  Commercial and Civil Litigation: litigation related to settling disputes between companies or individuals due to contract violations, corporate and commercial disagreements, along with judicial collection proceedings.
  Administrative: litigation related to settling disputes between companies or individuals and public administration, through administrative procedures, administrative trials, and “Juicio de Amparo”, in addition to litigation focused on obtaining permits, concessions and licenses.
  Amparo: “Juicios de Amparo”, with a strategic and multidisciplinary approach, predominantly focused on administrative, corporate criminal, commercial and civil law.
  Corporate Law: incorporation of companies, keeping of corporate books, contracts and due diligence.
  Intellectual Property: filing of trade marks, franchise agreements, and proceedings before the Mexican Institute of Industrial Property (IMPI).
